Portuguese Presidency of the Council of the European Union

Portugal assumed the Presidency of the Council of the European Union as from 1 July to 31 December 2007. During this period an intensive work was carried out in the EUPAN framework, with a view to complying with the mandate that was assigned by the Ministers responsible for Public Administration to the Portuguese Presidency, with particular emphasis on the preparation of the Medium Term Programme 2008-2009 and the joint framework for the European Social Dialogue Test Phase (2008-2009) for central government administrations, along with the work programme set by the working groups, that in the case of IPSG was responsible for the organization of the 3rd European CAF Event
